Rickey Henderson Rookie Card

Rickey Henderson is known for holding the all time record for stolen bases in the Major Leagues.  He surpassed Lou Brock’s total of 938 back in 1991 on his way to a career total of 1,406 when he retired in 2003. In 2009, he became a member of the Hall of Fame.  In addition to his career stolen base record, he also holds the single season stolen base record with 130 which he did in 1082 becoming the only AL player to break 100 steals in a season.  Rickey was names the American League MVP in 1990 and had a stellar career spanning 25 years on 13 teams.
